Welcome! I’m Andrea Hood and I’m here to show you how to live life to it’s fullest. Healthy. Happy. Fullfiled.
Monday morning comes and you groan at the sound of your alarm clock ringing. “Another week,” you say. “I don’t know how I’m going to get through it.”
Life is stressful, choatic, and can be down right draining at times. Long hours at the office, plus taking care of your family, equal less time for yourself. You have no energy so you suck down coffee like it’s your job just to make it through the day. You feel heavy and you haven’t been able to fit into your skinny jeans for a few months now. You don’t dare step on that [insert explict word here] scale for fear of what the number will read.
If this sounds like you, if you are a stress-out, overworked, underpaid individual who feels downright crappy, take a deep breath and relax. You have come to the right place and we will get through this together.
“Andrea has helped me realize that there are many different ways to be healthy… Her services have provided me with a clearer understanding on what is healthy – not only food and exercise wise but in relationships, my career and my day to day activities… [working with Andrea was a] HUGE step in the direction of a happy and healthy future.” – Amanda C.
“How does she know this?” you ask. Because that was me. I’ve made it through, and I can help you find your way too.
Picture this: 3 years ago my hair was falling out in clumps, I was overweight, had no energy, and was suffering from depression. My husband was servely over weight and was suffering from lack of energy and anger issues himself. We were recently married, had just bought our first house, and quickly realized that if we continued on the path we were on, we would end up really overweight, unhealthy, and probably divorced. We needed a life overhaul. And that’s just what we did.
Now our lives look something like this: We are both in fulfilling careers doing what we love and we know in our hearts that we were put on this Earth for. I am very active and spend time running, walking, doing yoga, and bike riding – I couldn’t run a half mile in March 2010, and then I ran a half marathon in October 2011. We eat healthy food. We have fun. We travel whenever we can. We laugh, a lot. Oh, and my husband has lost almost 90 pounds to date – that’s no small task!
